In 1928, Peruvian archaeologist Julio Tello discovered an enormous intricately designed graveyard containing some of the largest skulls ever found. Some of the skulls were believed to be over 3,000 years old. A recent DNA test found that the DNA contained in these skulls had mutations unknown to human, primate, or animals.
So, who were the Nephilim? In the bible, they are the sons of God and the daughters of men…however that works. Loosely translated the word means “giants”, although some believe the word comes from the Hebrew word for “fallen”. Their presence in the bible has been interpreted many different ways. Some claim them to be the offspring of angels, while others claim them to actually be fallen angels.
According to the Old Testament, the Nephilim were “sons of God,” a race of gigantic beings who were the offspring of human women and fallen angels. They lived in the ancient land of Canaan—which today stretches from Lebanon to Israel—and were wiped out in the Great Flood.
In the folklore and mythology of every culture there have been stories and legends of giants. One may wonder if the myths were based on facts, or if the facts actually became distorted into mythological legends over time. In the society in which it is told, a myth is usually regarded as a true account of the remote past.
the Welshman Geoffery of Mommoth who in circa 1136 wrote Historia Regnum Britanniae (The History of the Kings of Britain), in which he describes how early Britain (then called Albion) was inhabited by a race of giants. One such giant was the 12-foot tall Gogmagog, a rough and strong being who could uproot an oak tree as if it were a twig.
The Annunaki “Those Of Royal Blood” are believed to be immortal gods that inhabited the earth during the ancient sumerian time in mesopotamia.
